Pumpkin is quite possibly the cutest fox...
Skjor and any Companions who die are odd ducks in the Skyrim pond due to the fact they can resurrect alive if one of their random hunting expeditions decides to spawn them.I also had problems regarding Ardwen... it took me two attempts to sucessfully capture her. Wait until she finishes her pilgrimage, then stay away from Whiterun stables for one day to ensure her permanency. If she's still there after one day, then you're free to kill. If not, reload an try again. If you have any further issues, I can try enthralling her once more.
Anyone know what's the deal with Skjor? I can't tell if an anchor would do the job or if GR is required. When I try to grave rob him, his weapons don't disappear. The companions questline progress is currently stunted in due to that.

Could anyone tell me if there are non-moaning variants of Movarth? Once dawnguard gets installed he loses his diverse spawn-ability showing up only a bald, Nosferatu-like visage. Who knows if a previously acquired of version of him would still preserve his vanilla version traits
Once Dawnguard gets intalled, muted Vampires learn some trash-talk lines and occasionally slip out some of their machinations while idle. Moaning vampires, on the other hand, still moan. Bummer.Eh, Ardwen has been safe and sound stored among my bodies for a while now. I did a quick 10 day test on her just to see if she'd resurrect, but found her corpse lying there without an anchor... So I don't know what's different about my game. I have the latest patch. I guess I'll find out if she doesn't want to stick around soon? Who knows? Meanwhile I found that her dog doesn't respawn, so I've opted to put her straight into storage. It doesn't go indoors, however, acts as a nice guard dog out front Helgen Keep.
edit:
Oh! It's corrected for while she's alive... Well I didn't do any trials to see how long she'd stay there. I just fast traveled to Whiterun and she was there... So I killed her... Because I had to! Interestingly, I found killing her dog gave me a 1000 bounty while attacking Ardwen didn't even register as an assault. A little amusing, I must say...

Non-moaning? Why would you want to keep him quiet? He's an excitable guy, Denvald. Let him speak his mind.
As I understand it, only particular "major" quest related NPCs will stay quiet. There are a couple exceptions, but that's the general rule.
