Im looking to try out this roleplaying idea, need help

Im interested in trying out this roleplaying deal, seems like it would add to the game. Only thing is im completely new to it, if anyone would be kind enough to show me the ropes id love to join in on one somehow. Im sure i could get into it pretty good i just need some advice on how to approach it, i know i could come up with a character background story but beyond that im a little clueless lol.

Look over the recruiting thread too. You'll find people who are trying to start up campaigns and basic stories they are going to explore. Andante wrote up a nice RP intro as well to help people just starting out so be sure to look for it. And of course, the Guidelines are in this forum that I had mentioned to you. I hope you have a great time with it. It can be tremendously fun.
