    Guess who's back...
Eridor saw Conan remarking, if not mocking Keara's interest in the Ayleid transcriptions on the walls, and had to chuckle as she replied by putting him down, but Conan had reacted fairly well to her aggravation. The Orc came over to him, questioning him on his interest in the Ayleid history and passed-down knowledge.

"It's not the biggest thing on my mind, but I can understand why people are obsessed with them. There are many secrets to be found in these types of ruins - Ayleid, Dwemer, Chimer, Falmer, if you're willing to look for them. It's something I could get into, if I wanted."

Leaving the Orc with his opinions, Eridor went over to Keara and joined her company, as he spoke, he glanced at the wall, at the strange marking and writings, holding history, secrets of the past, remnants of an entire civilisation there to be uncovered.

"So, find anything useful written here? What do the markings say, mean?" He leant on the wall with his forearm, and once again scratched his chin stubble with his other hand. He wondered if he should grow a beard, or a goatee.

she watched as Conan walked away then turned her attention back to the writing taking one last glance at it "Brute" hearing the footsteps, Eridor appeared at her side "So, find anything useful written here? What do the markings say, mean?" she looked at him "unfortunately I dont have a certain book with to the translate it, so for all I know it could be a curse and what not, or a description to a hidden treasure here" she looked around at the others "Be careful where you step, just cause we cleared the rooms of undead doesn't necessarily mean we cleared traps" she turned back to Eridor "Why are you so curious into the writings? I would think you being friends with Conan you'd share the same interest"

"Ha. You think that because I get friendly with a brute means I am one? Look at me, I don't exactly look like a gormless, unintellectual brute do I? I wasn't going for that look..." He laughed as he said it, taking a breath in before he spoke again. "No, my interests are less.... barbaric the Conan's. I have care for history and arcane stuff, instead of how to put heads on spikes." Eridor chuckled at the thought of Conan considering that action an art, and imagined an entire gallery in Orsinium dedicated to the skill of placing decapitated heads on pointy objects.

Eridor gestured to Keara's notebook, "Mind if I have a look? I was brought up with a family that obsessed with these types of things, I might be able to remember some inherited knowledge of Ayleid scriptures"

moves her bag to the other side of her "Don't take offence, but I don't know you well enough to have you take a look at my writings and inscriptions in my book" she shifted, leaning on her right leg "It's not that I don't trust you to look its just I have personal stuff in here as well" she stopped and tilted her head to where her ear was pointed up "Sounds like the storm is dying down, Edywn would be pleased to get out of here and go hunting I'll be back" she turned on her heels, as she did her satchel opened a bit and her book fell out, she took off down the hall back into the room "Edywn... The weather is dying down some, did you still want to go out hunting?"

"Why yes Keara, I would indeed like to go hunting. Would your friend Eridor like to come with us?" Edwyn had a bit of a smirk on his face as he said that. He looked forward to the hunt, he really did. He had his eyes on some deer as he led the group to the ruin just hours earlier.

Conan walked to Julanza at the camp and sat down as the group went to hunt.
He was eager to eat abit more, but until then he would get some sleep.
He then shut his eyes, and began thinking of the journey he had arriving at Cyrodiil, it was long and cold nights, and when he arrived he didn't expect the first thing he would do is join someone for a quest like this.
He was happy to be with the group.

Eridor watched Keara exit the room before he went and picked up her notebook that had dropped out of her satchel. He held it in his hand for a moment, and twiddled it between his fingers. The temptation to take a look was ravenous, it gnawed at his mind. 'Open it, just have a quick peek, she won't know a thing.', his curiosity told him, begged him.

What secrets about her mystery could Eridor discover? What dark skeletons lay in her closets, one's that were documented in this personal journal? Eridor gritted his teeth, and tightened his jaw and made a noise with his mouth.

He couldn't. Whatever personal things there were in that book, they were hers, and they were personal for a reason. He couldn't risk finding something out that he didn't want to know. He followed Keara into the main chamber, where the camp was. He heard her call his name, beckoning him to join the hunt that she and Edwyn were going on. He caught up with her and tapped her on her shoulder, and she promptly turned her head to face him.

"Here. You dropped this on your way out." His eyes flickered down and his head nodded to the book he was holding in front of her, gesturing her to take it. "Let's go hunting, shall we?" that familiar smile appeared on his face yet again.

"All the drama finally behind the two of you? Now, let's get going. Walk quietly and ready your bows. Or in your case Eridor, your root magic." Edwyn bound a bow to his hand and arrows on his back. He led them to the edge of the woods then got in a sneaking position as he prepared to enter the woods with Keara and Eridor directly behind them.

she grabbed the book from his hands and looked at him "mmhmm..." she turned toward Edywn "I have no idea what you are talking about Edywn... this drama?" she placed the book into her bag and tightly closed it this time, she readied her bow and followed Edywn, softly treading

Einarr was content with following behind and to simply listen to the others. "knowlage is power... and the more I know the better." He thinks to him self as he over hears keara talk about her book filled with texts and who knows what else. He found him self wishing to take a look inside, that was if he ever learned how to read properly.

His hand brushed across the wall and his eyes searched all around him, looking for any hint of a hidden passage. Then he notices a couple of the group going to go hunt, and wile they're focus is on them Einarr slips away to search on his own. Wandering the halls looking for any thing he could use. Then he finds it, sitting in the far end of a smaller room. A crystal about the size of his fist glowing. He quickly strides over to it and hides it away in one of his many hidden pockets.

"Perfect..." He mumbles to him self as he turns to continue searching.

(Thought I'd kick some life into this RP)

Edwyn lead Eridor and Keara out of the ruins and back into the outside world. The rain had ceased to fall, and that familiar smell in the aftermath of a downpour hung in the air. The grass looked greener, fresher than it was before the group entered the Ayleid shelter, but perhaps that was because he hadn't seen colour in a while.

As the trio approached the boundaries of the woods, Edwyn took to a sneaking, skulking position, and Eridor followed his example. As the other two readied their bows, Eridor's palm had a pale green mist swirling around. He was ready for the hunt.

    (for talos)

Danrik watched as Keara left the first time with Eridor “Filthy Wood Elf better not touch her” he said under his breath. He sat in silence and watched as Conan, Keara, Eridor and Einarr took off to explore the empty ruin, he was about to speak to Edywn but saw he was somewhat deep in thought so Danrik just quietly sat there eating and drinking his mead, being left to his thoughts about the Shrine and the toils about acquiring the necessary materials to summon the daedra prince, finishing the last of his meal, he leaned back against the half broken column, closing his eyes taking in deep breaths, somewhat meditating.

Voices of his past rang in his ears, “Steady Now, the walls will break any moment, keep thrusting forward” “Danrik! We need you in front” “Yes Sir, alright Men Push” grunting from the men as the battering ram slammed against the wooden gates “Again!” Danrik shouted, arrows rained down upon the men, some wounded the back men moved forward taking the place of the fallen, the wood gates began to creak and crack

“One more! Make this one count Men… Now PUSH” the men took a step back and with all their might thrust the battering ram against the gate, splinters flew everywhere, men ducked and weaved out of the pieces of wood that flew through the air, the gate had fallen and the men pushed their way through the city, “Destroy the Unholy Worshippers! Leave no one alive!” the evil worshippers screamed as Danriks men laid waste to them as the last scream reached Danrik he awoke from his meditation.

Kearas voice broke through the silence "Edywn... The weather is dying down some, did you still want to go out hunting?" he looked up at her and watched as they both ran out of the room “Hmm good more meat, Edywn is a fine hunter and with Keara with him I know that they’ll be ok” he looked down, closing his eyes

Edwyn, Keara, and Eridor went out into the nearby woods searching for food. Edwyn picked up on some large deer tracks and silently followed, Keara and Eridor directly behind him. Edwyn and Keara found a pond, on which 3 large deer were drinking from the water. Edwyn silently motioned for Keara to get the westernmost deer, Eridor the eastern-most deer, and Edwyn would take out the largest middle deer. When Edwyn fired an arrow, they would take down their targets. Edwyn placed an arrow upon his Magic Bow, pulled back the string of intense magic, aimed with his best precision, and loosed the arrow. Keara followed and fired an arrow into her target. Eridor did something a bit different and used his power to use nature and he trapped the deer's legs with roots. Eridor then plunged a long root upward into the deer's heart. All 3 deer were now dead.

Edwyn and Eridor lifted a deer and take it into the cave while Keara guarded the other bodies. They put the body just inside the ruin entrance where it'd be safe. They repeated this with the other deer, Keara following them with her bow readied when they returned to the ruin with the third deer. Edwyn remembered seeing some chains hanging from the roof in the torture room. They dragged the deer there and hung them upon the chains. Eridor and Keara watched as Edwyn skinned the first deer. They carefully observed how Edwyn skinned the deer just in case they ever needed the skill.

(OOC: 'Tis fitting Edwyn knows the Conjuration arts, for he has breathed life into this RP!
PS: I am sorry but a lot of controlling other characters was needed in order to make this a fitting revival post.)

"Edwyn what should we do with the meat? I was thinking that we make jerky out of some of it I have spices in my bag" she started to dig in her bag (on my phone sorry it's short)

Edwyn gave Keara's suggestion some thought as he finished skinning the first deer, leaving it to hang so the juices may drain out. As he made the first few cuts into the second deer, he remarked. "Keara, I want you to make jerky out of this deer when you can then. It is the youngest of the 3 and the meat will be more tender making for better jerky. I don't know if you've done it before so I'll just tell you in case. In order to make jerky, you cut strips of meat from the deer and you cook it safely over the fire. Add the spices as freely as you want." Edwyn finished the 2nd deer and moved on to the final one, leaving the 2nd one's body at Keara's disposal.

She laughed and poked Edwyn "I know how to make jerky but thanks for refreshing my memory" she rubbed her eyes her vision getting a little blurry she blinked a few times hoping it would clear it up, she unsheathed her dagger and started cutting the meat into small but hearty slices, looking over at the fire that was built earlier the flame had died down some to just embers that glowed a fiery reddish orange she placed the pieces she cut on the makeshift grill "mmm maybe we can smoke them tasty" she said with a grin

    Guess who's back...
Upon Edwyn's firing of his own arrow, Eridor and Keara slay their own designated game, Keara using her own bow and arrow, Eridor using something more exclusive, his nature magic. He used a few roots to subdue the creature by wrapping them around it's trembling limbs and pinning it the the forest ground. His prey in submission, he then utilised a serrated root to pierce the heart of the petrified, helpless deer.

He and Edwyn then carried back the corpses, one by one, whilst Keara guarded the rest from any scavenging, opportunistic animal - or person. She then escorted them back to the ruins on the final deer, bow readied in caution.

Once back at the ruins, Edwyn suggested that the deer be hung from the chains in the torture room, which was a decent idea, and so the three dragged their soon-to-be-venison-meat over there and suspended the lifeless animals on the metallic, slightly bloodstained chains. It was strictly unhygienic, but nobody was going to argue.

Eridor stood with Keara and they watched as Edwyn skinned the first deer, almost masterfully. Eridor took note of his manner and techniques, just in case he ended up a wandering survivalist for some reason or another. Upon finishing the first deer, Keara suggested that they made 'jerky' with the meat. Eridor had no idea what this 'jerky' was, apart from it being obviously meat-based, but the name sounded funny, like some comical character for the entertainment of youths.

Edwyn accepted Keara's suggestion, and upon finishing the skinning of the second deer, he gestured Keara to do her thing with it. She quickly did so, not as expertly as Edwyn had skinned the deer, but skilfully enough, she then went to find the grill that they had used earlier to cook the strips of meat she had cut.

    Eridor merely leaned against the wall, not knowing and not caring about how to do any of this, all the food he ever needed came from the ground, and any meat he ate was usually prepared by somebody else, he only participated in the cooking. In lack of anything else to do, he decided to ignite a conversation with Edwyn;

"So, what does a Breton Conjurer have to say about his life? Aside from the fact that he can cut meat"

Conan had drifted of as Eridor, Edwyn and Keara all hunted outside, but was awakened as Eridor and Edwyn brought in the bodies of a few dears they had caught.
It was quite funny actually, one was small and tender, one was medium in size, and then one was rather large but their meat not nearly as nice as the others.
Conan would sacrifice the taste for meat, he was a large Orc, and would probably be eating the most anyway, only fair he gets the worst part.
After Eridor and Edwyn bringing in the last dear Keara joined them, Conan awakening from his sleep as they hanged the dear up the chains, upon the torturing room.
Not exactly the most hygienic of all ideas, but it was much better than dumping them on the floor, where not a couple of hours ago Zombies had been.
And even for a Orc, such a idea was disgusting, and of putting.

Keara and Edwyn began making Jerky from the meat, a pointless idea, why didn't they just cook it?
Conan couldn't exactly say anything though, they were more or less the leaders of this group, and aren't as brutish as Conan.
Eridor sat back as they made the jerky, some what of a profession apparently, as they seemed to be masterful cutters.
Eridor was watching them closely, observing everything they did to the dead dear, were as Conan just watched, not taking in anything they were doing, he didn't need meat to be even cooked to eat it.
But then again, that's what happens when your raised in a cold freezing temperature, not even in luxury clothes.
As they made the meat into Jerky Eridor started conversation with Edwyn, Conan thought he should do the same.
He got up from where he had been sleeping, he was stiff as he stretched and yawned, a weird sight seeing a huge orc yawning really.
Conan approached Keara as she cut the meat, leaning down to her level ''So Keara, what did you do before adventuring?''

    A.Auditore

She looked over at Danrik who was sleeping before turning her attention towards Conan, she threw the last piece of meat on the grill "before this? Hmm well I was in the dark brotherhood from some time then I was in the oblivion crisis army when that went down that's where I met Danrik and I went back to the dark brotherhood for awhile, I met Edwyn in a contract I had I left the brotherhood after some falling out ran back into Danrik and Edwyn and that's pretty much it"
