So I've been having a couple ideas for RP's that I like a lot. And I am wondering if there's anybody willing to tackle them with me. I haven't ironed out all the details, but I think these could be a lot of fun.
1. We are going back in time to right after Ysgamor and the 500 Companions return to Skyrim after the historical Night of Tears in Sarthaal. Players will role play as an ancient scouting team tasked with surveying the land ahead of settlers, mapping Snow Elf settlements and killing any of them that get in the way.
I figured since there's not a lot lore-wise that we know about this time period other than the men from Atmora did settle and drive out the ancient Falmer, it would be cool to form a sort of story of our own.
2. My other idea is even less formed. But I'm thinking about doing some sort of thinking man's role play. Most rp's that exist are pretty simple. "Kill all these things; obtain goal" with some story points and character development mixed in.
But I was thinking: What if there was an RP where the characters were not fighters. Perhaps it could be mystery based. We could be presented with puzzles or challenges or mysteries and have to collectively think our way through it. I dunno, just a thought.
So, does this sound interesting to anybody? I'm especially excited about the first and have so many ideas floating around that I'll probably do it by myself if I have to So, if these sound cool to you, let Troll know!
