I am trying to raise a nord family in windhelm, but cant figure out a job for my male nord
What would be a good rp job for a nord in windhelm?

How do you backstab a Dragon?
City guard. Dock worker. Tax Collector, Farm worker. Work in the stables. Perhaps work for the smith. Grave digger. Almost any job in the Palace of the Kings (particularly if Ulfrich remains Jarl). Or Lord knows Windhelm could use a could urban renewal specialist.

Okay, so #1 is an actual job, aren't the other 2 hobbies? By the way, what am I supposed to do with 1238 bottles of Skooma? All the dealers are dead now and I have all their Skooma. Maybe goodie bags?

Revive Nord tongues.
Gather the Ysgramor's family relics, his shield, the wuuthrad, his spoon, helm of Yngol, learn 20 shouts completely. Play only in Ancient nord armor, and let your followers have that. Nord hero weapons at later.
Cleanse Skyrim of Non-nords
Guess your world would be boring then... full of pale skins >.> lol psshh!! for shame! XD Don't think ulfric would even wish for selfish goals such as that

1 of my favourite Skyrim jobs/hobbies is being a hunter, if you leave windhelm and head south theres a lot of animals to hunt and you can easily return to windhelm before dark.

If you head north you can get a lot of bear and horkers too! I have a character that was written to have grown up north of Windhelm and that was his occupation.
