Venus Vinticantés
"In my darkness, the light of Dabney surrounds me, I will follow her till the end of my days through the false ideals of this unknown world. I will serve her, preserve my secrets, and let the people of Skyrim know me as what they assume, what they wish, what ignorance they live in..."
Name: Venus Vinticantés
Age: (human years, not in Debnic culture) 25
Gender: female
Race: (Shadow Caster in Dabney) "Nord"
Class: (Shadow Warrior in Dabney) Translatable to Skyrim: Archer, Spearswoman, Bladesmaster, Martial Artist
Current Residence: Wandering Skyrim, nowhere in particular, moves wherever she is welcomed usually outside cities in campsites/bunks in small homes found in the wilds owned by hunters, fisherman that she can make deals with in order to have shelter for a day, few days, or weeks at a time. She has a good friend in Morthal, named Jonna the owner of Moorside Inn. Since the inn hardly gets any travelers, or really any business whatsoever, she made herself work up the effort to do favors, deals, and charm the woman in order to coax her for a free night's rest whenever she's there. With Venus's unique fighting skills, she is able to protect the inn from vampires, as well as the rest of the town.
Afflictions: Vampirism, but only half due to family bloodlines (explained in more detail in her history section).
Personality: Venus is cunning, and because of her birth origin in Dabney, it is natural for her species to be able to adapt to situations with less knowledge than that of a native race quicker than those who have already mastered whatever subject/influence needed to know. She isn't of super intelligence, but has the cunning and wit with sheer observation to learn how to fit into any environment perfectly without prior knowledge in order to conceal her true identity. She is calm, serious most of the time, and level headed. Venus sometimes comes off as emotionless, but that is because of the years of training in self discipline while growing up she had formed a mastery over her mental control. She, and many other Shadow Warriors like herself consider emotions a downfall to success and power development in one's life, so they tend to steer clear of it at most occasions. She rarely delves into that side of herself, not because she is reserved, but because it is not a regular behavior of her. Venus only speaks and answers questions when spoken to, otherwise she is always observing, listen, and often in thought.
Gear/skills:
It is a skin tight leather body suit with the same red coloring, look to it, and grey added on features. She doesn't wear shoes, because the leather had built in foot wraps, and she doesn't wear any form of other warmth over her in colder areas of Skyrim because being a Shadow Caster allows her to adapt her body temperature to survive in any environment.
As for weaponry, she keeps a basic hunter's bow, steel arrows that are poisoned tipped which means she had experience in alchemy, and a hunter's speer with a sharpened steel blade on each end, as well as two daedric blades she took off of some foes corpses in her past. She doesn't rely much on weapons, for she uses her skilled fighting abilities to take down her opponents more so than any form of extra enhancement. She usually fights alone, and if the battle is a big enough challenge, then she uses her Shadow Caster form...
(the picture is obviously not very good, but it's just to get an idea across so excuse me I was rushed )
A Shadow Caster, in Dabney, is a superior race of human that have the ability to transform into a Shadow Cast. A Shadow cast is literally what is shown above, the person gets the ability to take on the sillhouette of their shadow that appears on the ground from the sun, but in three dimensional form. The eyes when in this form are hollow, and they have no facial features other than so as well as any detail on their bodies. The eyes will glow any color to what they are focusing their energy abilities on, for example as above it glows red. Their abilities are controlled with the mind, and they are used through the hands. Whatever color the eyes glow, the hands glow as well. Every ability they use are a manipulation of a plasma, jello-like magical energy that can perform different things. For example, white is telekinetic sense, so it would only glow transparent on her hands and eyes while she is using it thus giving her any form of telepathy control she would see fit. For red, it would be an acid substance she can use to manipulate, and throw at her energies (like in multiple jello like balls, or large plasma blasts that require more of her energy and stamina to do, etc.) that can eat away at the flesh. For pink, it is a large force exerted upon the user, which would in the sense mimick a FusRoDah shout with the force exterted in strengthwise, but in order to use it she would also have to exert a form of neon pink plasma at the user which could send them back several feet depending upon the level of focus she uses. There is more traits, but those are only a few examples, and if needed I will put more into this later. I will not use all of them in order to not make her OP, and probably only focus on the three listed in this paragraph.
History: A few years after the Civil War in Skyrim began, Dabney (who is the goddess of the Ula) sent only one of her more superior beings from the major city in her realm to further explore the efforts of this unknown world of Nirn to which she came across in her mental studies of other dimensions. Thus, Venus appeared on the province of Skyrim crossing through the same portal the first Ula founders used, and she began her life here at the age of 20. Quickly, she adapted to life of the primitive people, and she found her way of being able to keep her own style and customs to make it more understandable to those of the new world she was learning. She found how to make money, conceal her secrets, and more. These days, she wanders about doing what she needs to get by, and to stay below the radar/seem completely unimportant. More about her Debnic culture will be revealed in time through story. She is looking for a permanent settlement to call her own, and a job/people in this world that can accept her unique...abilities/out of this world culture.
