Timed Blocks?

I was just gonna read some guides on blocking, and I found out that timing your blocks (not bash) can stagger your opponents. can anybody upload some proof to this since i haven't been very successful and i can't find a guide on it.

Not sure about that, i know the bash does if you can get it timed right, the perk that slows time during your enemy's power swing can stagger them, but we ALL know that
