the origins of armor?

where do all the different armor sets originate from?

some are obivious like elven armour, daedric, orc, ancient nord etc.

i heard ebony was made by dark elves in there homeland
what about glass?

Hmm interesting. Something I've never thought about and when I do think about it I have no idea, except for maybe Ancient Nord coming from old Nord dudes lawl.

i would of said the dwemer "deep elves" made that. they made all the technology and automatons which looks like dwarven armor to me.
