I never quite believed people who said they had no regrets in life - I think everyone has something they wish they did differently.
By far the biggest one for me was about four years ago and if I recall it was the day of that year's World Cup opener. I began feeling ill and my granddad offered to bring me some soup over. I generally like to be left alone when I'm sick so I told him not to fret about it... that was the last time we ever spoke, a few days days later he had a heart attack and I got the dreaded call. Now if offered a hundred times over I'd tell him to bring the soup round. I console my self with the fact that our last ever conversation was at least a nice and pleasant one, which unfortunately wasn't always the case in our relationship.
In general though, I try not to regret too many things as many of the best moments in your life may not have happened without some of the less optimistic ones.
How about everyone else?
