I just wish it had greaves of some kind! But yes, one of my favorite sets.^ No
I love ancient nord armour, just made a trip to Forelhost for a set and a bunch of spares for later. Looks great on a female character and good on a guy too. The great thing about the armour cap is getting to wear almost any type of armour and in practice all sets are as good as each other (weight aside, without perks)
Nah, the best way to use the Ritual Stone is at the siege of Whiterun. Kill all the Imperials and guards outside, raise them, and when you go inside you've got an undead army backing you (I had the Dark Souls perk, and at the end of the battle had 4 Stormcloak, 6 Imperial and 7 guardsmen zombies beating up Balgruff).I just wanted to say that using the Ritual Stone power when you have killed 12-15 of the dragr in the boss fight chamber of Dead Man's Respite is the most awesome thing ever.
Also, I was playing Skyrim on a different Xbox, and (because I use discs) as such I had no DLC's. The game felt so weird for some reason. I kept thinking "Why can't I harvest Mudcrab legs?" and "Why won't the Sawmill let me make Flour?" (Hey look at that, two Hearthfire features). I just picked up on these things at random (spent the day living a hunters life in Falkreath, gave me some ideas).
Unlikely to ever find him at this point, I fear. One should be able to recruit from the bard's college. I actually tried when my first bard was killed. I wanted Lisset. My Ingin is sad.
As she was wandering through Riverwood on her way to take Esbern to see Delphine, up runs a courier bearing bad news.
Apparently Faendal is dead! Aww... Of course, I have no idea how since I'm not using him as a follower (hey, I'm level 88 now, he wouldn't be appropriate). Nice of him to leave me some gold though.
I went about my merry way, when it hit me that I had made him Steward at Lakeview! By the Nine! What the heck has happened at Lakeview! My kids are there.
So I made my way down to Lakeview to find everything looking pretty normal. My cow was there, as are my chickens and my carriage and there's Ryya as well. Lucia and Blaise are fine.
Oddly though, I can't find my bard anywhere (and I still haven't).
It was as I was inspecting the grounds that I realized that my horse was missing (and apparently dead, since I'd never ridden it at all) and, as I came around the animal pen, there was Faendal, with his head embedded in the staircase. Poor Faendal. Needless to say, I took back the armor and weapons I'd given him, as well as took all his cash and they key to his house in Riverwood (hey, none of that should go to waste!).
Can't move his body and was worried that his corpse would be there forever and disturb the children, but, when I came back a few days later, it was gone.
Now I need to find that dingbat of a bard. Where did he go?

Well, he's Dead so it's too late now. Plus his body has disappeared so I can't even raise and thrall him.Apparently Faendal is dead! Aww... On console, I end up keeping Faendal forever, even though he caps out at 30. With legendary armor and weapons, the right combo of elemental resistance and health enchantments, and a few potions, he's nearly unstoppable, but as soon as you dismiss him, he goes back to clothes and gets chomped by the nearest dragon.
Good question, neither have I. Hmm...3 years and over 200 characters made (it's not as bad as it sounds as over half of them never made it past Helgen) and I noticed that I've never picked the option that said that Hadvar helped me escape from prison when Alvor asks how I know him. How does he react to it?
spent about half an hour beating up the guy on the markath forsworn quest until I remembered that it might be a good idea to lower the difficulty that I had recently upped to legendary :/Every time I have to "Brawl". I switch it to Novice, then play for two more hours forgetting I switched.
