Well, a total anticlimax. On entry I immediately attacked him and pursued him non-stop, as did Serana. When he entered the bubble I used the bow and we attacked again. Within 30 seconds he was dead! I was so surprised I kept thinking there was a trick. Just for the record: Level 31 Redguard in Epic Dawnguard armor and a Legendary Ebony sword. No enchantments on the sword.
