I always wonder how on earth did they manage to get the extra lines to put in there. Damn audio editing is so god damn sophisticated these days.
You can do just about anything with a computer these days.

Okay it wasn't cut, they hid it somewhere in Riverwood. The dialogue of his battle speech before Whiterun. If it's there to be used, it was recorded, meaning it was obviously meant to be used, so it was cut. I've said this numerous times. A modder can't create dialogue for unique characters.
Except Bethesda have Galmar doing that speech instead, which means they recorded him giving it and used it in the final release. They chose to remove him and make Galmar give the speech.
How do you make a valid argument out of that? They recorded Galmar's voice actor doing the same speech, and they kept him.
Since this stems from Rimfaxe saying Ulfric sits on his throne while Galmar does all the work. Which is true, Galmar handles the Military and the new Jarls making sure they're staying in line.
Your argument about this is contradicted. If Ulfric is supposed to give the speech, because it was recorded thus meant to be used. Why does Galmar have the speech, recorded and actually used in the final cut. That is a clear intention. They could have removed all the other sieges and all the unique quests, still kept him. But removing Ulfric and replacing him with Galmar (Who gives the same speech just about) is a little more than "Oh well, ran out of time, cut."
You're comparing that to his battle speech, I expected a better argument from you. You're pretty desperate to prove me wrong lol.A modder can't create dialogue for unique characters.
Then Ulfric is after the Empire's nachos. After all a Modder can't create dialogue for unique characters.
Imperials!
I've made over 7 accounts with the mindset of picking the stormcloaks, but I just can't bring myself to like Ulfric or his beliefs so I always end up with the Imperials.

I have the same exact feeling torwards the Imperials. I can't stand siding with them. I have a Dunmer who sided with them, and I personally felt like a douche bag for doing what I did, especially considering the fact that the Thalmor still roams freely throughout Skyrim, and still slaughtering people over their religious beliefs. Also I felt terrible after killing Ulfric, and seeing a mournful Legate Rikke say "Talos be with you" to hear an unsympathetic Tullius essentially correct her by saying "What was that, Legate?".
During Tullius speech after the civil war is finally over with mention:
"The rebellion is over. Ulfric Stormcloak is dead. His head will be sent to Cyrodiil where it will adorn a spike on the walls of the Imperial City."
Now with in comparisons of Ulfrics speech:
"I am indeed Ulfric Stormcloak, and at my side the man/woman we know as Stormblade, and the world knows as the Dragonborn. And indeed, there are many that call us heroes. But it is all of you who are the true heroes! It was you who fought a dying Empire who sunk its claws into our land, trying to drag us down with it. It was you who fought the Thalmor and their puppets who would have us deny our gods and our heritage. It was you who fought your kin who didn't understand our cause, who weren't willing to pay the price of our freedom. But more than that, it was you who fought for Skyrim, for our right to fight our own battles... To return to our glory and traditions, to determine our own future!"
He mentions nothing about desecrating Tullius corpse by chopping off his head, and adorn it on a spike on the walls of Windhelm. In fact Tullius and Rikke had a well deserve funeral, and a final resting place in the halls of the dead in Solitude.
The Empire reminds me a lot like the Forsworn.... very uncivilized.
Reminds me of this scene from Resident evil
That's the beauty of it! A slight change in point of view and the decision can flip on it's head. I fight for the Stormcloaks because I beleive firmly in their cause, and it is something I would do in real life. Nobody is really wrong, it just depends entirely on how you choose to look at the situation.Imperials!

After this I'm considering joining the stormcloacks, I think I haven't done so previously because all the propaganda from the Imperials and the bad-mouthing from Balgruuf since it was the only thing I could go by given I never did the Stormcloaks quest. And honestly, it's not that I like Tullius or Rikke or the Thalmor, but more like I didn't feel like it'd be fair for the other races living in Skyrim since Ulfric can barely rule Windhelm. I felt like deriving from what I saw in Windhelm, the poverty and segregation(the gray quarters and the Argonians residing in the docks outside the city), Ulfric was not fit to rule Skyrim. From what I saw there, I felt like Ulfric would drive Skyrim to just that, poverty and segregation. He did an awful job running his hold, how could he run a country! Plus, the Imperials do a good job of running Cyrodiil, and from what I see they've done an equally good job running Skyrim. After I completed the Imperial quest, when I visited the holds that were previously in Stormcloak custody and visited the halls where the Jarls reside, I was actually quite happy with my decision. The new appointed Jarl of Windhelm, Brunwulf Free-Winter, actually sought a better Windhelm by trying to end the segregation and poverty going on. He looked for the better of the people, as opposed to his own wealth. And when I visited Riften there really wasn't much change. The Maven Black-Brior became the appointed Jarl and judging by how wealthy and successful she is she might actually be good for Riften. She's also got some great connections too . However corrupt it may end up being in the end, I think she'll do a good job in changing Riften for the better.
TL;DR:
For me it wasn;t really a which person is the chillest decision, more like who and what will drive the country to prosperity.
Sorry, I'm too into this.
But I might consider joining their side with my Dunmer(a bit ironic, no?) because, why not
EDIT: Also, the previous Jarl of Riften was pl***

Stormcloak side is enjoyable. I haven't touched the Civil War for a long time, think I tried both sides twice.
But, I can't resist trying to keep you Imperial.

I can never get into the Civil War much anymore. I find both sides to be short-sighted and stupid. Why are you all fighting over something that if you unite against, you will get rid of it just as easily. Hot-headed blindness and pride are the reason you fight.

It is short-sighted and stupid, can't argue with that, but what war isn't Plus, it's the most fun out of politics I'll ever personally get roflmao
I know this may be a little off topic, but isn't Ulfic the son of the prior Jarl? The Civil War started before he killed Torygg. It was the people of Windhelm who sat him on the throne and demanded justice and war, it wasn't him who demanded it of his people. And if by responsibilities you mean the Dark Elves and the Grey Quater, they are refugees who Ulfric provided with shelter/food/jobs, if they don't like that Ulfic is currently leading a rebellion and doesn't have time to fix a hole in the floor of their tavern then maybe they should move on? But they don't do that, because they know full well they have no right to demand anything and what they are getting is more than most would give.

I see no reason to get involved in the politics. But then again, I am on PC and use Live Another Life, which allows me to avoid the pathetic start of the game.

Is it Ulfric's fault that theirs poverty in his hold? Theirs poverty everywhere in Skyrim, not just in Windhelm. Is it his fault that a group of Dunmer's are messy, and incapable of keeping their homes clean and properly maintained? Sure theirs some issues going on in Windhelm, but Ulfric seems to be going a good job running his hold. People have jobs and are conducting daily businesses. That's good enough for me. When the people make money and are working that's a sign of success from the Jarl who is ruling the hold. As far with the situation with the Argonians... as bad as it may seem... they don't have it all that bad. Did you ever explore inside of the Argonian Assemblage lately? They have beds to sleep in and a large fireplace to keep warm, and to cook their foods.
An addition they have the best damn security that's available to them because in order to break in you must be a master expert in lock picking.
Don't take what Brunwulf Free-Winter says to be serious. He personally slams Ulfric but doesn't mind going to the palace of the kings to fest on the free food that's laying on the large table next to Ulfric's throne. Never in my 1,703 recorded hrs of playing Skyrim have I ever seen this man buying a drink from the New Gnisis Cornerclub. He is always seen in the Candlehearth Hall.
By the way Dunmer's and the Argonians typically don't get along with each other considering the fact that the Dunmers once used the Argonians as their personal slaves in Morrowind... and like so many Dunmers in Windhelm many of them migrated to Windhelm from morrowind. You can move but the tradition and culture is still there.
By the way Maven and the silver bloods are terrible group of people. Both make their supported sides look bad.
