Info Futuristic Tamriel? RP idea

So, I was just thinking: What of, instead of things taking place on Tamriel, what if, they occurred in space? Aldmeri Dominion seeking to spread their beliefs, Stormcloaks trying to stop them, mercenary groups, etc. Sort of a Star Wars/Mass Effect theme. Thoughts?

I doubt that. I haven't actually come up with the roleplay itself, and I see nothing like this on the forums.

I searched for it because I wondered if I was going to make a carbon copy of whatever your friend had planned. Since it's not here, it doesn't matter.

Hmmm why the aggressive words. I have seen many things with different ways of exploring similar concepts. Hell isn't that why genres exist. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Shaded's idea.

There's a couple questions I have about this proposed RP. First, is the idea to take the story and conflicts of Skyrim and directly transfer them to an inter-planetary/stellar Nirn, or would things be expanded even further, with factions that might have developed or morphed as time passed?

Likewise, are we talking about an interstellar space opera with magic and FTL travel, or would the story be on a smaller scale, and the world based around the logical development of magical space-travel?

Sci-Fi Elder Scrolls sounds awesome, but details. We need details.

Seems like a good idea. Although I'll assume they didn't find Prothean technology in a random point in Tamriel, Oh and I call the role of Shepard!! I'm such a Joker (OK I'll stop now) Jokes aside, i would be interested to see this concept play out.
