He is a good fighter, usually dodging, parrying, or blocking attacks. He looks for weak points in his opponents armor and exploits them. His preferred school is alteration, he uses it for added protection, utility, and if needed paralysis. Alteration can also have additional uses, for example he can change direction of incoming arrows so they miss, grab his weapon if his opponent disarms him, etc. He knows restoration and uses it to heal himself and others, and in case of magical attacks for wards. As for destruction, he knows the basic elemental spells (apprentice level), and more complex lightning ones, he uses them either to attack before he gets in melee range, or as a split second attack when he needs leverage (attacked by 2 opponents, enemy is very quick etc.). Additional skills: Knows how to repair weapons and armor (but don’t expect miracles), Knows how to make 2 potions (cure disease and cure poison/ check fear).

Backstory: He was born in Wayrest, where his father (a minor noble) served as the court wizard.
Life in the wealthy merchant port was easy, he had friends, and most of his family worked at the court, with the exception of his grandmother who managed their own little property.
He started learning magic at a very young age, with the guidence of his father and altmer grandfather.
The great war came knocking when he was seven, his father fought with in the legion for the last two years of it, and it was he who captured Lord Naarifin, the Thalmor general during the battle of the red ring, he was rewarded with a new job, since the court wizard of Daggerfall didn't survive the war, and was given a helmet for capturing him alive (for interrogation, trial and public execution).
He was 9 when his father returned, and they moved to Daggerfall.
He took an interest in swordfighting. His father didn't like it, but mom and grandpa convinced him that it would be good for the boy to learn to defend himself. His father agreed to it, but didn't teach him himself. This time his grandfather had more work to do, and taught him how to use a sword and shield, as well as how, and when to cast spells in combat. His grandfather was a mage, but he knew a lot about fencing, having fought vs pirates from Hammerfell, he combined their style with his own Altmer one. His mother who was an alchemyst focused on teaching him about restoration and a bit of alchemy (the 2 potions that he mastered making).
The war changed his father, made him a pacifist. He taught him about trade and mathematics, laws, lore and history.
When he turned 17 he wanted to, as all Bretons do, prove himself, and go adventure or get a job that uses his skill. The timing was perfect, as the Kings personal bodyguard had retired from service a couple of months earlier, leaving the possition open. The king of Daggerfall agreed for a 5 year contract. The job was tedious but not difficult. He mostly delt with petty assassins, and traveled with the king. He used his free time for lessons with the castle blacksmith, and sparing with the commander of the city guard. He visited Morrowind, Cyrodil, and even Alinor. The only serious assassination attempt was in Morrowind. A Morag Tong assassin ambushed them, he hit him hand with a blade, and nearly cut his finger off, when he finally managed to throw the assassin on the ground, he took his dagger and stabbed Robert in the foor twice, trying to cut his ligaments.
When they returned the king gave him two peaces of armor from his own blacksmith. Robert chose glass gauntlets and boots, he never before realized how elven armor is weak at two crucial spots that can decied if you live to fight another day.
After the 5 years expired, his Grandfather, trough some connections, offerd him a chance of guarding Neloth Telvanni.
The 5 years of guarding Neloth were interesting, to say the least. He moved to Morrowind, and unlike the king, Neloth usually didn't want to be escorted, but had Robert do work for him, help him in research, check up on his apprentice, look for some staves... etc. It was much more exsciting. Working for Neloth was a great learning opportunity, but he didn't pay as well as the king...
When he returned to Daggerfall, he saw his partents, they told him his grandmother had been killed by a vampire from Skyrim, and that grandpa moved back to manage the property.
He traveled to Skyrim, had some adventures, and recently he heard about the urgents of Stendarr, and wants to join them.
End.
