Medea
The Shadow Queen
Build Name: Shadow Mage
Race: doesn't matter
Main Skills: Illusion, Destruction, Alteration, Enchanting.
Stats: 500+ Magicka, 300+ Health, 150+ Stamina.
Secondary Skills: Restoration, One-Handed, Light Armor, Sneak, Pickpocket.
Important Perks: Impact (destruction), Quiet Casting and Master of the Mind (illusion), Magic Resistance and Stability (alteration), Extra Effect (enchanting), Armsman (one-handed), Agile Defender 5 and Unhindered (light armor), Muffled Movement and Assassin's Blade (sneak), Perfect Touch (pickpocket). Expert level in all main magical skills is a MUST. Restoration only needs apprentice level (for the spells Steadfast Ward, Fast Healing, and Healing Hands for followers).
Equipment to Use: Custom Built (your enchanting will be so good you won't want to use anything else, but if you want you can utilize Nightingale armor or Vampire armor to full effect with this build, as well as any Dark Brotherhood equipment).
Playstyle: Sneak everywhere and backstab/turn invisible at will, but if the going gets tough blast your enemies with a combination of paralyze and destruction magic, or simply calm them with illusion. With this build, nearly any kind of combat, melee or ranged, is possible. However, you will want to be careful when going toe-to-toe with multiple melee combatants. One-on-one, you can easily overcome anything.
Restrictions: As this style has a variety of main and secondary skills, you'll want to focus on those and stay away from other skills as much as possible. Pickpocket can be swapped-out for something like Speech, but be careful, because with so much specialization needed, you won't want to waste a single perk.
Other: This build is meant for those that like to sneak and use magic to disintegrate their enemies as needed. It is not for wading into combat recklessly. In single combat, even against Legendary Dragons, you can win untouched, after you get all your important perks and build your custom equipment. This build takes time to become powerful, and until you are around level 50 don't expect much. After you get everything you need, however, it's one of the most satisfying playstyles to be.
