Name: Rutger
Race: Nord
Class: Warrior. The Warrior stone is activated, but is played as a thief.
Age: 27
Likes: Gold, precious gems, booze, stealing things, skooma
Dislikes: The Empire, The Stormcloaks, The Thalmor, The Vigilants of Stendarr
Looks: Shoulder-length unkempt black hair, crooked nose due to brawling too much, green eyes with a scar over the right eye from a brawl. Stands at 5' 11'', a stocky frame with a lithe build. Usually with some grit on his face due to not being able to shave all day everyday.
Bio: Arrived in Skyrim after living along the coast in Anvil for a number of years with his family. Set out for Elsweyr and ended up living as a part-time merchant with some Redguards and a number of Khajiit. Eventually migrated to Skyrim after he heard about the gold mine that was skooma trading and arms dealing up there due to the war. After doing that for around a year, he parted ways with his caravan and set out for Riften, and after a short stint as a pickpocket, decided to go full time thief. Few months passed, and he found himself as the rumored leader of the Thieves Guild after proving his worth via accumulated stolen goods. Still unsatisfied and becoming the talk of the hold, he set out on a sort of personal pilgrimage after hearing about The Vigilants of Stendarr, and encountering them once in Solitude. He made it to their headquarters and found them repulsive in their forceful passion, almost as bad as The Thalmor. Killed one of them while departing and took the majority of their texts on daedra, as well as a map of the roads they usually patrol.
Using the map he found himself at an opportune situation. He began disguising himself as a Priest of Stendarr, and now prowls the same roads as they did. Coming upon any travelers, he lets them be. Be it an Imperial Caravan escorting a prisoner, or say just a caravan by itself, its a done deal. Makes short work of Imperial foot soldiers with the use of his two scrimitars, both enchanted after many hours studying the art of enchantment. Both take 13 points of life, and render the soul into a gem in less than 4 seconds. But I am digressing.
Rutger prowls the roads and rends the passing Priests of Stendarr to a short and vicious death. He'll dump the bodies into the nearby river after looting their bodies of clothing and their goods. Sells them to Khajiit merchants in return for skooma and moon sugar at a discount. Stores the really nice gems in an Abandoned Shack he claimed for himself after he killed the Dark Brotherhood out of contempt. Plus, he was really tired after raiding a Forsworn Fortress and didn't want to be woken up in the middle of a shack with some wannabe Jeopardy announcer telling him about how he needed to come on down and kill three innocent people. Astrid had a good death, and the innocent people died at the hands of the Frost Spiders outside the shack. I digress again, but it was funny when it occured, even moreso when you picture the frost spiders as hairy butts mounted on an arachnid frame.
Personality: Like dirt. No, not really. Just usually sides with the highest bidder or whatever suits his needs. The Dark Brotherhood had property that was needed. He took that. Riften has a nice training program and payment plans for folks like Rutger. He used, and still uses, that connection. Usually sides with the persecuted party; Orcs, Khajiit, Dunmer, and Argonians are his usual contenders. Not a big fan of the Wood Elves or the jackass High Elves. He uses what he needs to get the job done, and if at the end of the day, he finds himself at a counter with a tankard of mead in his hand, then good on him.
man this is long sorry about the length. guess my card will be one of those exodus dealies.
