Consulting Criminal
Character Name: Dracul
Class: Prince of Darkness
Alignment: Evil
Occupation: Lord
Birth sign: The Shadow
Currently Resides: Castle Alucard
Hometown: Cheydinhall
Age: 1013
Race: Imperial Vampire Lord
Gender: Male
Factions: Vampires
Worships: Molag Bal, Nine Divines (Formerly)
Appearance: Dracul is of a fairly large muscular build with moderately long brown hair and red eyes. He wears red armour of which the lower half is of a cloak-like design with a belt seal in the shape of a skull. The upper half is more bulky, with thick shoulder pauldrons and his chest is exposed in the same way as if it was a leather jacket with no shirt underneath. His legs are covered with leather boots and also dons a red cape. Dracul wears no gauntlets, exposing his hands with their long talon-like claws. Not to mention the fact he is often seen with blood on his chest and chin, makes him look even more formidable and frightening.
Personality: The Prince of Darkness before his turning was an extremely faithful man however through his life his faith began to waiver. He can be quite depressed due to the death of his wife which first caused to walk down his dark path. Due to this he also became a naturally vengeful person. He is extremely dark and arrogant believing no creature to be darker nor more powerful than he. After a time he managed to cope with his grief by channelling it into hatred and anger and no longer cared about the suffering of others. He was however and ashamed of himself for what he had done though his shame is now completely gone. Dracul has his own philosophy on killing which he made to stop the guilt and now believes that he is sending them to a better place for no place is worse than the mortal realm. Dracul is also extremely intelligent and a master planner and strategist. Despite all this the thing he hates and yet somehow enjoys most, is his undeath.
Fighting Style: Dracul was trained to fight from a very young age and is an expert with the use of hand-to-hand combat, whips and swords. His hand-to-hand skill is further amplified by his vampiric powers giving him a supernatural strength that most other vampires do not have. One of his preferred weapons is a bound sword he conjures from the void itself, similar in appearance to Chillrend. With the blade he uses expert swordsmanship skills however his sword fighting is not honourable and is in fact deceitful, underhanded and really quite brutal. Dracul's preferred weapon is a magical whip he creates using vampiric blood magic. The whip itself glows red and is ethereal in appearance similar to a lightning tendril, it cuts through flesh easily and can be created at will. He uses this weapon when he is facing multiple opponents as it is easier to fight off multiple attackers simultaneously with it. With the sword he uses it to fight off a single opponent and his claws to take out heavily armoured opponents. Dracul is more than a match for most fighters. Although he does not necessarily use this power to fight; he also possesses the ability to transform into a cloud of mist for a time.
Weaknesses: In the daylight his weaknesses emerge as some of his vampiric powers are stripped from him. During daylight he cannot transform into smoke, create his whip nor have as much of his strength. Despite being a Vampire Lord by status and the fact he was turned by The Lord of Domination, Dracul does not posses the ability to become a Vampire Lord creature. Instead he has extra strength and more command over vampiric magics.
Biography: Dracul is in fact not his real name. All who knew have long since passed. His story begins in Cheydinhall. It is rumoured he was born in Cheydinhall to two Imperial parents. Some have made a possible connection to the Cairn family of which Vahlok Cairn, a Mage belongs to. He was orphaned as a baby however and left on the doorstep to the Knights of the Nine. The Knights took him in and trained him for twenty years before he was granted his main quest. While he was there he learned to use his fists, a sword and a whip along with a few arcane abilities. For his quest he was sent to retrieve the fabled Arkay's Cowl. However little did they know it was in possession of a powerful Dremora. Nevertheless he set out on his quest to find the cowl. Dracul overcame many challenges and many demons to get as far as he did. When he finally tracked down the Deadra they had an epic duel which unfortunately ended in a stale might. They locked swords with such might that they both vegan focusing their arcane will into their blades, causing a large explosion. Both were thrown wide and knocked unconscious. The Daedra was the first to recover and when he awoke the Dremora had set a trap. He saw the Dremora donning the cowl in front of him. Seeing his chance Dracul grabbed his sword and thrust it into his stomach. He noticed that the Dremora fell to the ground and knew that something was wrong as an attack like that couldn't fell a Dremora. Dracul removed the cowl only to see his wife looking back at him. In her last moments he comforted her and apologised for what he did, ashamed. She told him that he had fled to the Soul Cairn with the real cowl before succumbing to her wounds. This pushed him over the edge with grief and vowed vengeance on the Dremora who had tricked him. The broken Dracul attempted to follow him through the portal only to find he must be either undead or soulless. Due to the fact he had no soul gems he was left with very little choice. Dracul performed a summoning ritual for Molag Bal who appeared before the broken paladin. The man asked Molag Bal to make him a vampire and pledged his fealty to The Lord of Domination. Molag Bal agreed as he was delighted at the sight of the supposedly incorruptible and unbreakable paladin, and granted him the powers of a special bloodline of Vampire Lord by biting him. The transformation process was incredibly painful and what remained of his humanity was destroyed, leaving but a shadow of his former self. After the transformation he began to take a different outlook on life, (As described in personality) and thought himself more dark and terrible than the scum he was hunting. Dracul entered the Soul Cairn a Vampire Lord and had a climactic face off with the demon. The creature was no match for him now and he easily crippled the Dremora before biting it and slowly draining it's life force in the most painful way possible. That was his first taste of blood and by no means was it the last. He now thought of his power comparable to a Dragon and begat the name, Dracul, for which he is now known (although some mispronounce it as Dracula). Upon returning to Tamriel he experimented with his newfound powers and using his ability to transform into mist, found a large yet abandoned castle in the Jerral Mountains which he christened, Castle Alucard. It was here he resided for the rest of his immortal life venturing out little only to drink blood. The Volkihar found out about him and attempted to negotiate with him but Dracul despised them, sparking a fierce rivalry with Lord Harkon. Castle Alucard is where he currently resides, and there is still much more of his story to be told...
