HISTORY
Childhood- Tiberius was born on the same day of his brother. Being twins Tiberius and Jo'Moar (his first given name has been lost to time, not even he knows what his name used to be), were constantly trying to prove themselves to each other and their parents. They often challenged each other in every sport they knew, which, much to their dismay, wasn't many. They grew up in a forest and lived in a small community of nomads. They learned to live off the land, respect their leaders, and the value of intelligence. They were taught by their parents battle strategy and combat.
Throughout their childhood, they were in constant threat of attack from the ruling Ayleids. Their parents, Silana and Tyronius Gaius, were warriors for the nomadic tribe. That meant something that it could never mean today. They were the last line of defense when something, anything, went wrong. They fought off the constant onslaught of Ayleids, they tore through the trolls, and they defended children from slavers and bandits. However, despite all the warriors the nomads had acquired over time, more and more were dying. Whether it was from disease, poison, or battle, the revered warriors were becoming a thing of the past. Over time, Tyronius and Silana were the last of the warriors. Sure, young ones were being trained mentally and physically constantly, but none were prepared for the attacks that were about to occur that night.
Under the cover of darkness and new moons, Alyeids surrounded the camp. They slaughtered indiscriminately, their swords, magic, and battle cries shook the night and the very terrain. Tiberius and Jo'Moar hid behind anything they could, trying in vain to hide from the poisoned blades of death that were the Ayleids. The two boys were soon caught by a group of warriors. They were pulled from their hiding spots by their hair, kicking desperately at the air.
It was then that Silana and Tyronius Gaius came rushing into the fray. Silana and Tyronius expertly slaughtered half of the elves. Their blades were justice and their voices were that of judges. They decided who would live and who would die. Unfortunately for the Aylieds, none of them, in the parent's eyes, deserved to live. Despite the warriors skill, numbers can overwhelm, and the two were captured. They were brought before their own children, Tiberius and Jo'Moar. For awhile, no-one did anything, the family just stared at each other in defeat. Then the Aylieds paralyzed the family. Then they took Silana and defiled her in front of Tiberius, Jo'Moar, and Tyronius, whether they were allowed to or not was (and still is), irrelevant to Jo'Moar and Tiberius. After they were finished with Silana they took Tyronius and decapitated him. His body fell on the children's paralyzed laps.
The boys were to be sold into slavery and bought by a rich client in the Imperial City, so they were left physically unharmed but emotionally shattered.
Teenage Years- Tiberius and Jo'Moar were bought by a rich Ayleid mage. The mage would make Tiberius do the physical chores: cleaning, cutting meat, etc. While doing horrible experiments on Jo'Moar. The mage was trying to learn how to change a mortal to a different race. To prevent Jo'Moar from fighting back, he would tie the young boy by the neck and limbs to a hard piece of wood. The wood, or more appropriately, pieces of wood could adopt different forms as to accommodate the various forms the races of Tamriel could take. At any rate, the grueling experiments began. It took months but, with the worship of several Daedric princes and the power of star magic, Jo'Moar was transformed into an Alfiq Khajiit. Seeing his brother transformed into a Khajiit, Tiberius grew insanely angered and bloodthirsty. He took a nearby broom and rushed the Ayleid. Tiberius had become strong under the constant labor the Ayleid slave master made him do. His toughened muscles brought the heavy wooden broom down on the Ayleid's bare head multiple times, effectively killing the mer. However, it wasn't without consequence, killing the mer meant Jo'Moar would stay the way he was until they could find a way to turn him back. The two boys raced out of the mansion they had lived in for so long, their only hope was the nearby forests. There, they could hide amongst the other human nomads and gather information on how to transform Jo'Moar back into a human.
Adulthood- The two brothers, lost in the massive forests that was Cyrodiil, came upon a meeting of nomadic tribes. It was obviously supposed to be secret. Why else would so many important figures come together? There the two brothers saw Pelinal Whitestrake and St. Alessia. There, the two boys would be betrayed by two of the greatest figures known to man and mer. Nonetheless, Pelinal Whitestrake trained Tiberius in combat. Tiberius was given a strange katana made of black steel. It was said to be born from the flames of Akatosh, but that was just a rumor. It was, however, fireproof, allowing all forms of fire magic to be dealt on it without its blade being damaged or dulled. As for armour, he was given fireproof robes. They were, at the time, inexpensive to make and extremely useful.
After Tiberius was done training, he aided St. Allesia's forces in battle. Though, at the time, he believed in diplomacy and was passive in nature, it is said St. Allesia manipulated his already confused and broken mind. Despite Tiberius' unwillingness to fight, he was one of, if not the best, soldier in St. Allesia's armies. Tiberius was up to par with Pellinal Whitestrake, and they would often fight side-by-side on difficult missions.
The war ended, not soon enough in Tiberius' opinion, and he started roaming the woods and cities of Cyrodiil. He helped those that couldn't fight for themselves. Tiberius and Jo'Moar would, for the rest of their lives, try to redeem themselves for the war crimes they committed and the mer they slaughtered. They cut ties with the Empire and changed their names to what they are today.
(Will explain the fractured mind and immortality through memories, nightmares, etc. I can also assure you that he isn't overpowered, as his mind is, quite literally, fighting with itself constantly with almost no exception.)
