Marvel Heroes Omega Hits Open Beta on May 23
Gazillion Entertainment revealed a number of new details on the upcoming console ports for the online MMORPG, Marvel Heroes Omega. First up, the game is hitting an open beta for PlayStation 4 this week. That means players will have access to the open beta starting Tuesday, May 23 for the PlayStation 4 console.
Additionally, it was previously confirmed that the game would receive a port on the Xbox One as well. The Xbox One version is set to launch next month on June 20. Players will be able to start the game with 38 heroes, including Spider-Man, the Avengers, the Defenders, the X-Men, Captain Marvel, Ghost Rider, She-Hulk, Nova, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Players will be able to enjoy the game solo or play with friends in co-op.
PlayStation 4 players who are interested in buying in will have access to the PlayStation 4 War Machine Founder’s Pack for $16.99. This deal is exclusive to PlayStation 4 Plus members. This pack includes a number of nice bonuses, including playable War Machine DLC, a bonus costume inspired by Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War movie, 1 XP Boosts, so they can level up faster, and 500 Gs. Gs is the in-game currency for Marvel Heroes Omega, and it can be used for additional heroes, costumes, boosts and more.
Other available founder’s pack includes the Deadpool Founder’s Pack and the Spider-Man Founder’s Pack, both of which cost $19.99 each. Those packs include immediate unlocks for Deadpool and Spider-Man as playable characters. There are more expensive Founder’s Packs for the X-Men and Avengers, but those cost $59.99 each due to the amount of extra characters in them.
