Fallout 4 Survival Mode To Get More Dangerous
Survival Mode is the most brutal difficulty setting Fallout 4 offers, but it might not be enough for some people. The setting increases the stamina of enemies while reducing yours and making you more vulnerable to hits. But the previous Survival Mode, which was part of Fallout: New Vegas, also added permadeath and removed the ability to heal by sleeping. From a tweet Bethesda sent out yesterday, it sounds like they plan to add these bits:
We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.
“Food” and “danger” could imply even more handicaps are about to be applied. Bethesda also used their Twitter to hint that DLC for Fallout 4 is nearly complete:
We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.
Back in September, Bethesda first mentioned their DLC plans as well as plans to offer additional content for free. While this upgraded Survival Mode could technically count as one of those free offerings, Bethesda has already promised something more substantial: a Creation Kit for the PC version that will allow players to create mods. No tweet about that one’s arrival yet.
