Hey H'sikar, your post was good and you've got a cool character, but being able to detect life of everything within a 75 foot radius is a little much. You should narrow it down to a shorter distance or maybe he can only do it for a few seconds.
Also, I think you guys are finding the meeting chamber a bit too easily. This was a problem in the first version of this story. You're not asking where the bathroom is, you're trying to find a very secret and very illigal meeting to commit rebellion against the High King of Skyrim. It's been put deep in a winding, confusing, and very dark crypt full of dust, cobwebs, drauger and lots of other icky things. It's not supposed to be easy to find. Why not put a bit more struggle into finding the place. I'm looking for something like:
"Legate Pookie McWinkle of the Imperial Legion headed down the dimly lit catacomes, following what he thought was the right way. After walking for several minutes he realized he had come to a dead end and had no idea where he was.
"Damn guards." McWinkle thought. "I'll have to find my way back and get better directions. I don't know how the Stormcloaks won the war with brickheads like that!"
After retracing his steps, McWinkle realize he had simply turned left when he should have turned right and found the doors to the meeting room. He pushed the dusty iron handles to reveal the crowd inside."
That's more interesting than:
Lord Bob of Goddingvile activated his Detect Importaint PC spell after destracting the foolish guards with a talking sweetroll. After bending spacetime so the door to the meeting room was right in front of his conjured chamber pot, he decided it was too easy and effortlessly went down the catacomes to find the meeting."
No none of you sound like that and yes these are two extrieme examples, but I hope you get my point. I ask that you look over your posts and spice them up some if they look like they need it. Thank you
