Dragon Bones And Update 17 Coming To ESO This February
What’s awaiting ESO players in Dragon Bones, the new DLC pack coming next month? Bones, probably, and dragons as well, but what else?
The pack’s main attraction is the addition of two new dungeons, Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair. Inside you’ll find disease-ridden cultists who serve a Dragon Priest, an army of necromancers, and the advertised undead dragon. Both dungeons are playable in either normal and veteran modes, and a veteran Hard Mode is included for each final boss. You’ll find both new and returning enemies in both areas.
If you’re an ESO Plus member, you can download Dragon Bones right away, no extra fee required. If you aren’t, you’ll be able to pick it up from the in-game Crown Store on the day of release.
On the same day, Update 17 will come out for ESO, and here’s what you’ll get with it:
- The Outfit System: allows players to customize the look of their equipment, regardless of equipped gear
- Two New Battlegrounds: the Orc Stronghold of Mor Khazgur and the Dwarven ruins of Deeping Drome bring two new arenas for the 4v4v4 multiplayer mayhem (Battlegrounds PvP requires ESO: Morrowind)
- Home Storage System: this highly anticipated feature provides players the opportunity to lock items away safely in their homes via the Homestead housing system
- Additional Gameplay Features: new quality of life additions will help new and experienced players get the most out of ESO, including the new Level Up and Skills Advisors, guiding players to the best upgrades when they level up; plus improvements to combat, making it easier to identify and activate ability synergies
While Dragon Bones costs money no matter which way you slice it, Update 17 will be free for all players. Both additions will be downloadable for ESO next month.
