Man, this is really happening! I think it’s time to break Alice’s long silence and make her whole once more!

Tomorrow. It’s a far too late and I have that work nonsense in the morning.

I love all of your characters so far! @Harkatti I'm particularly interested to see how Katrina and Hale react to one another. @Simus BLOODY PSYRAKON I'm glad you're joining us. I owe you so many RP's from my past flakey self, I hope to make it up to you on this one old buddy. Looking forward to see how Alice has grown.

And @Telleroftales always a good idea! Looks like this is taking off quite well so far. Hope I didn't take too much liberty with describing those strange beasts you mentioned in the intro/setting post. I tried to keep it vague enough but also do a pseudo-introduction of at least some of the dark plops lurking on the roads.

    Name: Alice Psyrakon
    Race: Imperial
    Gender: Female
    Sexuality: Bisexual

Physical appearance: Alice is five feet tall with pale, cream coloured skin , a small slender figure and a healthy looking complexion. She has black neck length hair and no scars or blemishes except for a scar on both sides of her right shoulder from a Thalmor sword. She almost always wears a smile and is usually clean and presentable.

Personality: Alice is quiet and reserved but extremely friendly once she's gotten to know someone. Her small size and polite, patient nature make her seem welcoming and trustworthy and the air of authority she carries herself with means more often than not people listen to her. She's never liked crowds but has always loved to get to know people in small groups where she can really get to know someone. As a result, she's a friend to most people she meets and more often than not leaves a good impression. She has excellent manners and is very good at addressing those in power, especially after years of practicing her own power and influence. She's very intelligent and has proven herself to be both impeccably honourable and an excellent judge of character as she's gotten older.

These shining qualities do come at a price. Alice has extremely high standards for herself and has struggled to reconcile these standards with reality. She's struggled with both anxiety and depression since she was a teenager and a lifetime of war has inflamed both conditions. Age, experience and loving family support have given her critical tools to combat the darkness within herself but it's a struggle that she can never truly win. Simply learn to live with.

She's a devout worshipper of both Talos and Mara, her father teaching her the honourable ways of the former and her mother the kind hearted ways of the latter. She seeks to act honourably in all aspects of life but also has a desire to share her love with everyone.

Weapons: A fire enchanted longbow named Mother's Fire, lightning enchanted imperial gladius named Father's Steel and plain steel dagger in addition to a generous supply of steel arrows. She also has extremely well developed destruction and illusion magic with a deadly penchant for fear, lightning, force and psychic attacks.

Armour: A set of bright blue leather armour and helmet that she wears over one of her city outfits if she needs to be in Stormcloak uniform or her catsuit outfit if she can afford to be discreet or if she simply wants to look tough. She never wears armour with her stealth suit as even leather would make too much noise.

Clothing: Alice spends a great deal of time and money on clothing that's both fashionable and practical. All of the below outfits and many of her other pieces are enchanted to self clean, self repair and resize to fit her or someone else as needed.

City outfit: Alice's Stormcloak uniform and her choice for when she needs to dress up or just wants to look nice. A bright blue dress the same colour as her armour with either short or long sleeves and a skirt that stops just above her knees. A thin ring of white lace lines the hem of the skirt and sleeves. Both dresses have three brass buttons ending at the collar. She usually leaves the top button undone except when she needs a more formal look. She pairs either dress with a white apron with a stoneflesh enchantment in addition to the usual mix for some extra protection. Completing the outfit is a pair of footed tights with blue and white sideway stripes and black knee high waterproof leather boots with rugged lug rubber soles. Rubber is an uncommon but not unheard of dwemer alchemical product that Alice has found an excellent addition to footwear. Her jewelry includes silver sapphire earrings, an amulet of Talos, a silver sapphire ring on her right hand and a gold wedding ring on her left with three small diamonds set into it that join together to look like one large one. She wears elbow length leather gloves over her long sleeved dress and under her leather bracers when weather demands.

    Boots: https://www.google.com/search?q=det...UENfMTExMDQwMzQwODg0OTI2MDEwMTU=,pvt:hg,pvo:1

    Gloves: https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1...AB&biw=414&bih=720&dpr=2#imgrc=5iaFLXiFyVLT3M

Catsuit outfit: Alice's outfit of choice for when she's travelling a long way, wants to blend in better than she would as a Stormcloak officer, wants to balance stealth and protection or simply wants to look and feel tough. This consists of a form fitting black leather catsuit with a matte finish and a turtleneck collar that she keeps zipped up at all times to protect both her chest and her modesty. Zippers are a rare but not unheard of addition to clothing in Skyrim so it's just a touch more noticeable but Alice has deemed this an acceptable drawback. She matches this catsuit with the same knee high boots and elbow length gloves as her city outfit and a long black hooded cloak when weather demands it. The entire outfit is waterproof, either by material or enchanted means.

Stealth suit: Alice's most unique outfit of all consists of a skin tight back zip jumpsuit made of smooth stretchy spider silk. In our world it would look and feel like lycra. The suit has feet, gloves and a hood that wraps tightly around Alice's head and completely covers her hairline. Once she puts it on she's completely covered in black fabric except for her face. The suit is all one piece, as in every part of it is attached so as to have no breaks in the fabric and no possibility of Alice losing or dropping something. The hood has its own zipper that meets with the regular zipper at the back of her neck so she can get out of it if she wants to and let it hang at her chest. There's no way for her to remove the hands, which can be inconvenient, but the suit's self cleaning enchantments clean and dry them very quickly so it isn't a real problem other than looking strange. Basically it looks like this.

Such a tight and full body garment can also get hot so the suit is temperature controlled to keep her comfortable in pretty much any weather in between bitter cold and blazing heat. She's never said where she got such a suit but has dropped several tantalizing hints over the years of "A remarkable set of ruins from another world."

The suit can cloak her with invisibility for several minutes while on the move and for practically forever while she's staying still. It also has significant protection against magical attacks and heat but it cannot protect against physical attacks. This is why Alice saves it when stealth is top priority or when she can't afford a fight. She wears socks under the suit feet to help protect them and her boots to protect her.

Two pairs of zip up one piece footie pajamas with dotted rubber soles. White with black skulls and blue with white snowflakes.

Misc.Gear: Makeup, hairbrush and toiletries, trail rations, rope, a few bits and baubles and an old but well maintained brown stuffed white rabbit named Kim. Arms, legs, glass eyes and floppy ears.

Background: There's a lot here so I'm going to summarize as much of Alice's long and illustrious adventures on this forum as possible as concisely as possible. While making room for new stuff.

Alice is in her mid twenties and has seen a lifetime of war punctuated with periods of peace and reflection and always with her family. Alice's father Simus's covert worship of Talos was discovered by the Aldmeri Dominon one year before Helgan when she was eighteen. Her mother Amy's status as a former Blade was also discovered at this time. Thalmor agents chased the entire family out of their home in the Imperial City and burned it down. They fled to Bruma so some of her parents' friends could take them to Skyrim, but they were betrayed and captured. Rather than die at the gallows, they all broke out and fought out of the city and into the Jerrall Mountains where more Thalmor agents awaited them. Amy died defending her four children, Simus was incapacitated and Alice was separated from her little sister Cilla and two brothers Stephen and Titus as they either fought or fled. Alice suffered grievous wounds herself when she stayed and fought after Simus told her to run. She was quickly overwhelmed by the Thalmor but her father killed all of her attackers in an attempt to save her. Afterwards, he begged her to run and this time, with her eyes spilling over with tears, she did so. She hobbled a few feet before succumbing to a grievous shoulder wound where an Aldmeri sword ran her through. She was rescued the next day, but her father was separated. She was brought back to the Imperial City and he came back to look for her but was captured during the search. After several days of planning with some new friends she had made, Alice broke Simus out and the two were reunited. After resting for a time, they headed north to Skyrim to join the Stormcloaks, find the rest of their family and rebuild their lives as best they could.

Things improved for the family over the next few years but they were always bittersweet. Simus and Alice reunited with the other children but Stephen was turned to a vampire and eventually killed saving Cilla from the same fate. They reunited with Alice's Aunt Netty, her mother's sister, in Whiterun where she, her daughter Mila and her tavern Netty's, just across the market from The Bannard Mare were relieved beyond words to see them alive after hearing what had happened in Cyrodiil but Netty had just lost her husband Ryan to the rattles and ended up mixing in her grief with everyone else's. Simus and Netty grew very close, the two family halves became one and they married years later but juggling the family tree like that is always stressful and strange. Alice and Simus served heroically in the Stormcloaks and became two of Ulfric and Galmar's best strategists but killing their countrymen in the Legion was something neither of them has gotten over. The Stormcloaks won the war but revolutions are always bloody and the worst of the Stormcloaks shone in those early days. The initial aftermath was so bad that Simus and Alice ended up turning against the High King they helped enthrone mere months after they'd won. It was a short lived revolt that many unkind critics have called The Psyrakon Rebellion.

Both Alice and Simus were war heroes and had cosmopolitan support as well as a great many Nords who felt they were wrong to support Ulfric. This new rebellion rallied the soldiers of The Long Retreat and for a brief time reversed it. Then the Second Great War began. With the Dominion invasion of Cyrodiil also came a secret invasion of Skyrim from both the Dominion navy and portals placed in the ruins of the Thalmor Embassy. Simus and Ulfric, both veterans of the First Great War called a truce without hesitation but were slow to join forces considering they were just trying to kill each other. The Second Great War is a long and bloody tale in itself but the short version is the Thalmor lost, Skyrim was recognized as in independent kingdom by the Empire, Simus and sulfuric made their own peace and Ulfric's hard line ideas were tempered quite a bit. Alice always wanted to believe he'd finally seen how disgracefully he'd been acting and wanted to make amends to his people but felt in her stomach that he simply couldn't stand more bloodshed and wanted to keep his power. Either way,, Skyrim was able to finally begin rebuilding as peace settled at last.

The last few years have seen things improve for Alice and her family. She married a former legionary named Julius, Simus retired from his own lifetime of war at sixty to be with his new family and Alice resigned her wartime commission with the Legion to rejoin the Stormcloaks as an proper army with a new reputation for honour and tolerance. Or, at least more than what it had as Ulfric's private army during his rebellion. Alice has served with distinction as an infantry commander since then and has even written a history of the events of her life. The Stormcloak Wars as she titled it illustrates both what happened during the Stormcloak Rebellion, Psyrakon Rebellion and Second Great War and how people felt about it. It's been regarded as a remarkably even-handed work but also as poignant, sharply critical of Ulfric and controversial for its heavy use of letters and journals from both sides, including many of Alice's own letters to her father, siblings and Aunt Netty.

As she stands today, Alice is a happy and successful career soldier with a loving husband and a positive public image as a soldier and author. She's decided not to have children at the moment because of this, something that both her family and husband completely support her with but a topic she has to address to strangers annoyingly often. But she has a lifetime of bad memories to cope with, a history of psychiatric care at the College of Winterhold as well as more conventional education and the sinking feeling that this period of peace, just like all the others, is temporary. With this looming sickness, it seems she's right.

I might have Alice talk with Katrina as well after she catches up as well. By the way Alice does have dark hair but it’s all tucked under her hood at the moment and it’s as skin tight as the rest of her suit so I’m not really sure how Katrina would be able to see it.

X-ray vision, obviously :p Or the more likely explanation that I missed the part where Alice's hood was still up.

Ahhh it happens haha don't worry about it. Not to put words in Katrina's mouth, but since Alice's suit is so rare/otherwordly your char could have potentially seen the hood of Alice's suit and thought it was her hair!

Got my reply up! Also @Telleroftales since this is your show, feel free to chime in anytime about the general direction you feel you'd like to take the overall plot in. Or we can wing it! I'm always down for wingin' it, especially early game.
