It has been nearly a century since the Dragon Crisis. The prophesied Dragonborn, Dovahkin, slew Alduin and saved Nirn, before disappearing in the wilds. Some say they spent their last days in the wilds, with the remaining Dovah. Some say they died of their wounds. Some say they retired to High Hrothgar, with the fabled greybeards.

The brutal civil war that occurred at the same time, came to an end not with one side definitely victorious over the other, but rather in a bloody stalemate, that saw the holds of Haafingar, The Reach, and Falkreath held by the empire, while Eastmarch, The Pale, and The Rift, declared Ulfric the High King, and Hjaalmarch, Winterhold and Whiterun hold remained neutral meeting grounds for both sides.

While tensions remain forty years later, peace reigns. Even with thalmor agents roaming imperial territories, hunting Talos worshipers, 'True Sons' of Skyrim or imperial hardliners trying to reignite the war, Skyrim is at peace.

Yet...peace breeds ignorance. And ignorance is an ideal cover for foul things, things that were believed to haunt nightmares and legends, to breed. Rumours of a nameless horror in the Reach, preying on lone travelers and merchants. In the swamps of Hjaalmarch, it is said that the dead do not rest easy. Strange malady has struck the Rift, one that ravages the body as horrible as any plague seen before. Throughout all the holds, strange priests have been seen, proclaiming the coming of the Tenth Divine is nigh. Where they walk, madness follows.

However, not all is yet lost. Those who know the dangers of ignorance have kept watch on the lands of Skyrim. To put a stop to this madness before it spreads throughout the lands, a call has gone out for adventurers, sellswords, and would-be heroes, to embark on an expedition to investigate these rumours, and if they can, put an end to them.

I do not require you to post a backstory. However, I would like at least one memory or trauma unique to your character. This does not need to be posted with your card but will play a huge part in the story at a later date.

    Name: Jerek Firemane
    Age: 27
    Gender: Male
    Race: Nord

Weapons: A two-handed steel bearded axe, and a pair of long steel daggers that he keeps as a backup.
Armour: Toughened leather covers' most of his body, light enough to protect from average blows. He wears a worn, scuffed, iron breastplate, and shoulder plates.

Misc. Gear: A torn, worn travel cloak, that speaks of much travel and hours spent in the wilds.

Fighting style: Jerek is best placed in the frontline of any fight, his bearded axe piercing through foes with each swing. Since his weapon is on the longer side, he can have problems in tight quarters. To make up for this, he is well practiced with the long daggers he has on his belt, though he much prefers to start-and finish a fight with his axe.

Appearance: Just under six feet, Jerek is broad-shouldered and clearly in the prime of his life. He has a rugged face, though not so much as to appear unhandsome. His eyes are a deep green, while his hair is a fiery red, paling to a sunset gold-orange near the tips. His beard, though kept short, is the same red shade. He is unscarred, which many foolish folk take to mean he is untested in combat.

Personality: A friendly, outgoing fellow, with more than a little mischievousness, Jerek is always looking for new experiences, making new friends and helping people. He will stand by his allies, even when lesser or more...practical people would have fled.

    Rell

    Champion of Malacath!
    Name: Balgur Nar Shadat

    Age- 42

    Sex- Male

    Race- Orc

    Class- Soldier/warrior

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Widowed

    Laterality- Right handed

    Afflictions- N/A

    Religion- Malacath

Appearance- A sturdily built orc since he was a youngling, life in the imperial army has refined his bulk into a finely tuned soldier. His skin is a dark green and his head is shaven but he has a short beard, shaved to regulation length, of dark hair. His bushy eyebrows overshadow a pair of hazel colored eyes. A savage scar marks the right side of his head, and he's missing the top of his left ear. A pair of short tusks jut out of his lower lip. His posture seems to be always at rigid attention, making him seem taller than his five feet, seven inches.
    Gear

Armor- In the custom of the legion, he was allowed to keep his heavy legionnaires' armor after retiring from the service. The steel is heavy, but years of marching in it have made him nearly immune to its' weight, and he appreciates the superior protection. He has swapped out his legion helm for an open faced steel one, complaining that the imperial helmet obscured his peripheral vision. The armor is scratched and dented in places, but it has obviously been loved and well maintained. On his left arm, he wears a broad, rectangular shield with an iron boss, and the sigil of the imperial legion on the top and bottom halves.

Weapons- In the orchish tradition, he forged his own personal weapon. Unlike most orcs though, he crafted the haft from ash wood, and the blade and crossguard from orichalcum. The blade of the spear is about fifteen inches in length, and the cross guard four inches on either side of the blade. The haft of the weapon is about five feet long. He was permitted to keep his legion gladius as well, which he keeps at his side as a backup weapon.

    Known Spells- Absolutely none.

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) A plain white tunic and rough woven pants that would look more in place on a farmer than a soldier. In a small backpack, he carries several whetstones, cloths for cleaning polishing his weapon and armor, and preserved fruit and meats, suitable for a long march. On his right hand is an old, plain ring, possible made from gold.

Personality- Balgur is a gruff, no nonsense, grizzled old soldier and he acts the part. He doesn't trust or particularly like mages or rogues, but he can respect their usefulness and contributions to a battle. Outside of battles, he is often quite and solemn, keeping to himself either in reflection or caring for his gear. He is slow to trust but once he does, he is a steadfast friend. Unfortunately, he also has a habit of leaping to conclusions, something that might anger his companions.

Likes- Well laid out plans, solitude.

Dislikes- People who can't obey orders, thieves, mages.

Combat Preference- Anchoring a line and shouting orders to his comrades, like he once did in the legion. His sturdy armor means he can take some punishment before being in any real danger. He stabs over the top of his shield with his spear or gladius, but becomes a little more vulnerable should he lose the shield.

    Dialogue color(s)- Brown/Bronze.

    Name: Asarvi
    Age: 26
    Gender: Female
    Race: Khajiit

Weapons: A nordic greatsword, if she somehow loses this, she is extremely competent in hand-to-hand combat.

Armour: Nord-styled steel armour, over light leather. It slows her down but she has used it long enough that she's no longer crippled by it.

Misc. Gear: A warm, hooded fur cloak, rations, and septims.

Fighting style:Her fighting style is designed to force enemies to adapt to her, rather than the other way around. She is skilled in the use of her greatsword, and frequently catches enemies by surprise with her bladework. If she happens to be dissarmed, she is more then capable with her hands and feet, slashing into her foe with her wickedly sharp claws.

Appearance: Asarvi is big for a khajiit. Standing at six feet tall, she is heavily muscled, though she is still curvy enough to draw the eye. Her fur is an ashy grey, except her chin, throat, and stomach. Her eyes are a clear, deep blue. Her black hair is long and braided, falling to midway down her back. A thin scar stretches diagonally across the bridge of her nose.

Personality: Generally friendly, Asarvi has no tolerance for racism or sexism. She's more than willing to back up her beliefs with her fists, if need be. She abides by the law of the towns and cities she's in, so much that the guards frequently comment on her uniqueness among the khajiit.

She has a somewhat...black sense of humour, sometimes leading to others thinking she is somewhat jaded. However, she will never leave a companion in need, and is willing to lay down her life for her friends.

    Dialogue colour: This blue.

    Morbidbread

    Fight for the lost
    Name: Sevion Orestis
Age: 78, looks to be in early thirties, late twenties, thanks to elvish aging.
    Gender:Male
    Race: Dunmer

Weapons: An ashen longbow, a quiver of steel tipped arrows, along with an elven longsword.
Armour: Dark leather armour, designed for light protection and ease of movement.

Misc. Gear: A forest green cloak, complete with hood. The cloaks hem is dirtied, from years of travel along the roads and wilds. A bandolier containing several bandages, dried fruit and jerky, and a couple dozen coins.

Fighting style: Sevion prefers to fight from a distance, using his longbow to strike down foes from afar. However, he is quite adept with the longsword he wears at his hip as well.

Appearance: A lean dunmer male of average height, Sevions ruby eyes stand out in his charcoal dark skin. His hair is raven dark, a few shades darker than his skin.

Personality: Sevion is a rather stern individual, though he is a sympathetic and reasonable mer to those who have done no wrong. He reserves his wrath for those who prey on innocents or needlessly harm nature.

    Dialogue colour: Tan

    Drachlir

    Dragon Rising
So, I was going to only stick with one rp on here, but I just can't resist something this well written.

    Name: Zoras Tungere
    Age: 29
    Gender: Male
    Race: Argonian

Weapons: A two handed great mace, with a sturdy oak handle, wrapped in leather for grip and a steel head.

Armour: A steel breastplate, thigh plates, and gauntlets, offering good protection to those areas. The rest of his body is fairly vulnerable, but he makes up for this in pure speed and aggression.

Misc. Gear: Supplies, rations, and coin.

Fighting style: Zoras keeps his foes at bay with savage blows, appearing as an unsophisticated brute. However, the argonian is actually a cunning strategist and bases his plans around the reading the reactions of his foes.

Appearance: A hulking man of an argonian, Zoras stands at 6'4, and his broad shoulders and wide chest mean he towers over most his comes across. His scales are a deep, navy blue, while his eyes are piercing gold in colour. He has a pair of long, bone horns that curve slightly away from the back of his skull, the tips ending four to five inches back from his skull.

Personality: Zoras can come across as cocky and arrogant at times, but he truly has the best interests of his friends at heart. He will fiercely defend though who manage to earn his respect.

    Dialogue colour: This green.

If this has already started, ignore my message, but here we go.

    Name: Zeon Shadowborn

    Age: 23

    Gender: male

    Race: Khajiit

Weapons: crossbow, bolts, a steel dagger and an elven sword.

Armour: A chain mail covered by black leather garments.

Misc. Gear: A dull, iron dagger, worn out by time and poor cradtsmanship. A satchel with a few alchemy ingredients. A blank book he uses as an adventure log.

Fighting style: Quick on his feet, Zeon is an agile fighter, wielding his sword and dagger to pressure and confound his opponent, aiming to end the combat as swiftly as possible with deadly precision. Alternatively he keeps his distance using his crossbow. If all else fails, the man will claw his way through adversity. This combat style made him unfit for drawn out, long brawls, as most of his energy is spent in the offensive. Knows the basic healing spells and delved a bit into alchemy to fabricate poisons and potions to aid him.

Appearance: A cat covered in pitch black fur, at night you'd at most be able to see his eyes, gray as a stormy sky, or his golden rings that addorn his many short braids at the back of his head. Average height for a Khajiit, if a bit more bulky than most of his brethren. He is left handed.

Personality: A man with a stern composure and serious face, until one starts to talk with him that is. Zeon is something of an awkward jokester, as he tried to be approachable despite his looks, but his playful demeanor with his almost angry frown (that doesn't quite go away when he smiles) makes for an unusual mix of signals. Afraid of spiders, and the vast ocean makes him uneasy.

Lore: born as part of a caravan that was ambushed, captured by bandits and kept as slaves soon after. His first memories are the night a young orc warrior and his group of allies stormed in the fort the bandits lived and killed the place clean. The orc warrior took the young feline under him and retired from adventuring to take care of him.

Due to the special circumstances, the orc was accepted back at his home stronghold after abandoning it for the adventure, there, he named Zeon and gave him a second name based on his appearance, and raised him as part of the orc tribe following the code of Malacath.

Zeon grew up hunting, protecting the tribe training with the blade and forging when he had the chance, he still carries his first ever product of smithing: a poor quality, small iron dagger that he made with the help of his father.

When he was 19, Zeon chose to depart and find his destiny in the outside world, he wished to hone his swordsmanship in order to accomplish something he resolved himself to do on his own. Two years later Zeon encountered his father in-name in the wilderness. As he guessed, the old orc wanted an honorable death in combat. So Zeon drew his sword and fulfilled his father's last wish as an act of gratitude for all the years the old orc took care of him as he would to a son.

With this arc of his life reaching its conclusion, Zeon now set foot on the beginning of his real adventure.

    Yey! Here she is!

    Name: Brielle Mantidius
Age: 60 years, but looks about twenty.
    Gender: Female
    Race: Bosmer

Weapons: A steel falchion, an elven dagger, and two bandoliers of four throwing knives, crisscrossing her torso.

Armour: Leather armour, thicker at vital areas, but still light enough she can slink around if she so wishes.

Misc. Gear: A worn, brown traveling cloak. Dried rations, coin, and several minor trinkets.
Fighting style: Brielle is a spellsword, a rarity among her kind, but she knows the value of darkness and stealth. She prefers to get the drop on her foes, harassing them with a barrage of thrown knives and spells before closing in for the kill.

Appearance: Just over five feet tall and just shy of seeming malnourished, Brielle has hazel eyes and light brown hair, usually gathered in a short ponytail. Her skin is slightly paler than most other bosmer, and generally unscarred.

Personality: Cautious, bordering on cold, Brielle is slow to open up to anyone, due to a turbulent childhood, young adulthood, and experiences as a traveling blade for hire. She generally puts coin and getting a job done ahead of making friends. However, she can show some flashes of kindness to those who bother getting close to her.

    Name:Cassius Andorum
    Age: 33
    Gender: Male
    Race: Imperial

Weapons: A well forged steel longsword, blessed by the priests of Arkay, with the symbol of the god of life and death etched in the middle of the crossguard. The blade is especially effective against undead, though it can deal with mortal men as well.
Armour: Half-plate, covering his shoulders, torso, and upper thigh, in steel. His boots are also covered by greaves.

Misc. Gear: An amulet of Arkay, food enough for several days, a waterskin, two minor healing potions.

Fighting style: As a paladin, Cassius excels on the front lines, cutting down the enemies of his god, while still being able to heal his allies, should they need it.

Appearance: At six feet exactly, the broad shouldered, well muscled, form of Cassius does not bring to mind feelings of warmth and forgiveness. A long scar starts just above his right eye, bisects the eyebrow, and travels down to the corner of his mouth.

His hair is a dark blonde and cut close to his scalp. He is fair skinned, contrasting with his dark blue, almost black eyes. His features are very rugged, from a lifetime of exposure to various climates and persecuting evil wherever he comes across it.

Personality: Pious, dour and intensely focused, many find their first meeting with him...somewhat less than pleasant. He follows the laws of the lands he traverses, so long as they align with his goals. If a vampire or necromancer has hidden themselves among the nobility of a city, there is little likelyhood that Cassius will consider the consequences before striking. Something that has landed him in trouble more than once.

Despite his devotion to following Arkay's will and seeking evil, Cassius has some idea of how to be civil to his companions, even if it takes him more than one attempt.
