Even if you complete all major quest lines, there will be random NPC's that will have work for you to do and jobs from the factions.
On and off player last few weeks. Still working on the thieves guild quest on my main toon, and some days a play my hardcore (1 life) character to change it up. But like others on here I mix it up with other games too.

The brawl is triggered when you first enter the companions place...Maybe they where in the room when you first entered so you didnt see the brawl. A bug sometimes happens and they draw weapons and it becomes a deadly fight. :(
The game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has this option. Puts a Mirror in the users home where they can change the characters look. Would be a cool feature in Skyrim and adds another RP element.
For PS3 if you are connected to PSN before you start the game, it will automatically prompt you to install game update. You have to click "X" to continue. Guessing the XBOX will have a similar feature. Consoles should not auto update on thier own, some form of user input is required. Games on...
I got that quest last night, first time. I didn't know anything about that guy, I just wanted to kill rats and poison the mead. At level 52 he was hitting me very hard and almost killed me before I even had the chance to use my shield charge.

Initial assumption was that there was a soft cap at 50, and after 50 it was harder to level up. Think thats where people get the 50 from... No soft cap in game.

So is not Bethesda's fault it can be exploited so easilly? Most blacksmiths carry a lot of iron ingots and leather strips to make daggers and its even easier to make leather bracers. Why would anyone not make them if they wish to level smithing? You would have...

I was mad about my lvl 8 soldiers death tho, it was so stupid, I had killed a rabit while climbing the steps to see the greybeards, the corpse was at the edge and i just had to loot it....
Whiterun Breezehome with all upgrades, got a second home in Windhelm (Hjerim) not furnished.
First and second horse was from Whiterun Stables. Both dead. Now have a Pinto from Markarth Stables.
