From your highest level character only.
How many hours played?
What level?
Simple description of play-style.
Just out of curiosity
Mine:
120 hours
level 36
Wood elf, Stealth game
3.33 hours per level.
I hated every one of them but The Argonian. I found their personalities completely obnoxious.
My character killed Cicero purely out of revenge for attacking him.
I always preferred EVE online to WoW.
I played WoW to about lvl 25, gave it the ol' college try, but just never got "into it".
I find MMORPGs to be mind-numbingly dull, to be honest.
Assassin.
Seriously.
With the 15X damage, plus the right gear for double sneak/backstab damage...
honestly, the only challenge left to the game is making sure they don't see you first.
Dragons, Dwemer Constructs, Giants, Bears... they all die with one hit.
I detest the idea.
truly.
I hate the whole "mathematics rpg" of "tank, healer, damage dealer, blahblahblah".
In finding "balance" to make the game "fair" you'd remove so much of the flavour.
4 player co-op? Hell yes.
Multiplayer deathmatch? Absolutely not.
it would be simplified, dumbed...
My original choice was to have a waaaayback prequel.
... and Blackreach cemented that idea in my head, stepping into Blackreach was awesome, and I instantly saw an entire game based around an "underdark" (with apologies to TSR) type world. Lots of political intrigue.
Two new player races...
Making a potion to heal oneself is not an exploit.
Crafting armour is not an exploit.
However, crafting a bajillion daggers, making a million identical otions that will never be used and destroying every magic item you find to enchant those bajillion daggers so you can max your perks and stats...
*face palm*
seriously? WTF? Do you guys read anything that's been posted? It's not an effin' Christian website. It's a website that pokes fun at Radical Christians. Honestly... stop posting this crap.
Do a friggin' online search about "Christwire". Check Wikipedia. Something, anything...or...
So, my Wood Elf is death incarnate.
Dragons are dying with one backstab, mere seconds after Alduin brings them back from the dead.
I didn't power level or take any exploits... and the only skills that have gone up are the ones I use "in character". It took a lot of time and frustration (Level 36...
OR... a third option is;
Instead of reading the first post, and then rushing off to respond.... forum members actually READ the entire thread!!!! if they did, they'd see that "christwire" is a lame-ass, satirical website... and the EFFIN' ARTICLE ISN'T REAL.
so, let's say this again, so it...
*sigh*
You DO realize that "Christwire" is a (poorly done) satirical website, right?
It is meant to poke fun at the ultra-right, ultra-religious that seem to find evil and sin in every single thing ever created that doesn't begin with "Bible" and end with "Bible".
Unfortunately, it comes...
Gladius is a straight up gem of a game. So much fun, so much strategy, a genuine attachment to the members of your school, and hours up on hours upon hours of gameplay.
I love it.
My own thoughts, additions... from a guy who pretty much plays these games exclusively as a stealth character in a self-imposed "hardcore" mode.
All of my perk points have been spent in;
stealth
light armour
one handed (ONLY in the dual dagger branch)
archery
lockpick
I spend my stat points...
Sir Tifekat Uvdeth (props to my old High Schoo buddy for this one)
Black Eddy Spice (regional humour here, I doubt anyone will get this one.)
Auntie SoSha'al.
That's what I mean... toggles for each option.
Don't want fast travel, toggle off.
Want to be able carry a bajillion swords? Toggle on.
24 arrow quiver? toggle on.
etc.
