Don't do everything on one character; can rob the fun.
Every playthrough has the potential to be much different.
My current character is my fifth but it's the second time I'm doing Dawnguards main quest and the first time as a Vampire.
Also did a character where I did the entirety of the Dark...
Illusion spells like Calm, Fury, Muffle, and Invisibility will be incredibly helpful, join either Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood for the faction armors, and having your 1H skill up to snuff can help keep you alive when noticed. The Alteration flesh spells can be good for a quick DR boost and...
It looks great, but the enchantments are so lackluser
I've always thought it a little sad that nearly all unique equipment can be outclassed by any generic weapons and armour you can create.
Invest in health and 1H. Need to be able to handle these exact situations.
Also, having gear that gives 100% Fortify Illusion and using Invisibility with Quiet Casting has worked wonders for me.
Each pack can be done at any level you like.
Here's an overview of what they add:
Dawnguard - Requirements: At least level 5-10 to encounter Dawnguard scouter, but can find the Fort immediatly after escaping Helgen
New shouts, locations, main quest, side quests, dragon species, 2 joinable...
Daedric Quests can be found throughout Skyrim.
Several have a limit that prevents them from starting until you reach a certain level (30 is the highest I believe).
Each quest rewards you with a corresponding Daedric Artifact; get all 17 and you get the Oblivion Walker achievement. Be aware that...
It's pretty much a multiplier to enemy stats; they deal and take more damage.
Here's the scale
Difficulty Player Damage Dealt Player Damage Taken
Novice 2x 0.5x
Apprentice 1.5x 0.75x
Adept 1x 1x
Expert 0.75x 1.5x
Master 0.5x 2x
Legendary 0.25x 3x
Attacking Thalmor counts like any other crime. Talking to them until they initiate combat first is fine though.
Just leave, wait a few days and come back. They should just say to stop whereby you can pay your bounty or choose jail time.
I wonder how it will work, though.
Will there be a monthly subscription, or the like, even when using a console?
This may end up being my first MMO.
Yes, I mean ever.
I Fus Ro Dah'd Ulfric into the corner; little poetic justice you know: it's how it started, it's how it ended.
I'm considering smacking him with the Mace of Molag Bal on my next go through.
No Sovngarde for him; an eternity in a black soul gem or maybe soul cairn, or maybe wallowing away in...
I know. I just notice that the first dominion is nicer as it isn't trying to stamp out memories of their perceived humiliation at the hands of Talos like the Thalmor are.
I'd probably go for Aldmeri Dominion; they don't seem to be quite as vicious as the Thalmor.
Too bad Bretons are part of the group I'm least interested in.
