Can You Keep a Secret? Even about Elder Scrolls 6?
Most people can keep secrets for years and say a word. Not a clue about the day that they stole just enough money to pay the rent. No, never a hint about who stole the cookie…you know the jig. Yet they all have a caving point. Something that they just can’t keep inside. For most gamers, it’s the Elder Scrolls VI.
The last time that something official happened in the Elder Scroll was way back in 2018. Six years ago. A 36-second video showcasing the new map that would be our future hunting ground. No gameplay footage, no monsters to haunt you at night. And definitely nothing else.
Silence. That is all we have heard from Bethesda Games since 2018! And the fans are waiting for just a note, just a clip, a dev update, a press release – anything.
However, today I came across this article on Technopedia that claims to know just when the game will be released. Here is what they wrote on the blog “Although Bethesda hasn’t confirmed a solid release date for The Elder Scrolls 6 yet, a court document from the FTC v. Microsoft case shows that The Elder Scrolls 6 is expected to drop in 2026 at the earliest.
“With Microsoft’s acquisition of ZeniMax Media, Bethesda’s parent company, it makes sense that The Elder Scrolls VI would be released to PC and Xbox Series X|S only.”
There you have it. What do you think. Was it worth it?
